One Thing

Some of us are strong

and some are weak.

Some of us are wise

and some are meek.

Some of us are rich

and some are poor.

Some of us are at peace

and some are at war.

Some of us are inland

and some are on shore.

Some of us are hurt

and some healthy.

Some of us are open

and some are closed.

Some of us are hard

and some are soft.

Some of us have faith

and some have not.

But there is one thing that unites

us all:

We have all had pain;

We’ve all suffered.

We have all tripped;

We have all fallen.

We have all laughed;

We have all cried.

We’ve all been humbled;

We’ve all got pride.

We have all hated;

We have all loved.

We’ve all been alone;

We’ve all been together.

We’ve all been hated;

We’ve all been loved.

We’ve all been stubborn;

We’ve all learned

……………………………………..

There is one thing that

unites us all

and that is our Humanity.
